A Letter to The IWC

Dear Internet Wrestling Community,

You are ruining professional wrestling. I know what you are trying to do. You think that by constantly bitching and complaining WWE will eventually listen to you and change what they are doing. They won’t. WWE doesn’t care about your opinions. They only care about your money. That is why they will never listen to you.

You can love Sami Zayn, they don’t care. You can hate Roman Reigns, they don’t care. You can not like Jinder Mahal as WWE Champion, they don’t care. They don’t care because you always pay them money.

They know that no matter how much you complain and how much you bitch you always watch. You buy their merchandise. You buy tickets to their events. You subscribe to the WWE Network. They have your money why do they care about anything else?

If you want to make a difference in the WWE product you don’t do it by complaining. You don’t do it by ripping Monday Night RAW or SmackDown Live apart on your reviews on You Tube. You don’t do it by complaining on your podcast. You don’t do it by complaining on your blog. There is only one way you’ll be able to affect change. Make a dent in the WWE bottom line.

If you have a You Tube channel with a good following why don’t you organize all your fans to stop watching. If the WWE loses 50,000 subscribers to the WWE Network and NJPW gains 50,000 describers then you are affecting their bottom line. If you organize 4 or 5 channels to do so and 250 or 300,000 people cancel their network subscriptions and start subscribing to NJPW world something might happen. That’s the only way.

If you don’t want to do that stop bitching. If you don’t have the balls to do something like that because you still have dreams that you may one day work for WWE, stop complaining. It doesn’t matter how much you bitch to Roaddog on Twitter. It doesn’t matter how much you chastise guys like Justin LaBar or Jimmy Korderas because they don’t share your opinion. Bitching will get you nowhere.

The WWE product isn’t great right now. We all know that we don’t have to constantly hear about it every single day. As a wrestling fan, I hate getting on Twitter on Monday or Tuesday nights because it’s a constant bitch fest. You make watching WWE not fun.

If you want to make a difference than be the person that affects change. If you just want to bitch, please stop. Those of us who can still watch wrestling and somewhat enjoy it will thank you.
